Read a teaser here.

Gaby remembers everything.

For a year she believed she was a backpacker chilling out in Pandanus Beach. Working at the library. Getting over the accident that killed her twin brother.

Then Rafa came to find her and Gaby discovered her true identity as Gabe: one of the Rephaim. Over a hundred years old. Half angel, half human, all demon-smiting badass—and hopelessly attracted to the infuriating Rafa.

Now she knows who faked her memories, and how—and why it’s all hurtling towards a massive showdown between the forces of heaven and hell.

More importantly, she remembers why she’s spent the last ten years wanting to seriously hurt Rafa.

      • 2015?!! January 1st, 2015?? I’ve just mowed through the first three books in the series, the last of which I finished with shocked horror this morning. It didn’t conclude! I thought there were 3 books. I’ve been left hanging. 2015 is only about 8 weeks away, but the year is 52 weeks long. When will Burn be available.

        • Hi Deidre,
I don’t have a set date yet, but my books usually come out around June/July each year. Given I have a draft of Burn down (now editing), I’m hoping it will be an earlier release rather than later. Are you in Australia?

  1. Hey i was just wondering if this series will become a movie series? Because i think these books would become an amazing movie series, and would be such a great hit. I would love to see these books turn into moves! The books are amazing, i have never read a book in my life but your books have me addicted.

    • Hi Christiarn. I’m glad you’re enjoying the series. 🙂
Unfortunately I have no control over whether or not the series will be made into movies (or a TV series). That will depend entirely on whether or not a production company discovers the books and wants to option the rights. At this stage, that hasn’t happened – but I’m certainly open to the idea!

      • I have only recently discovered your books, but I am oh so happy that I have! I’m only half way through haze and I’m already excited to read the next two books, i feel that if these books were to become transformed into movies they would be an international sensation, just like your books! Is there any way we can help movie producers discover your talent and help persuade them to make them into movies?! Also, I just wanted to Thankyou for sharing your talents with me through your books, by far my favourite series so far! Are you working on another series?

        • Thanks so much Michaela. The best way to support the series is just to keep reading, and to tell people you’re enjoying it. 🙂 I’m currently working on a totally new, totally different stand-alone novel. I hope you keep enjoying the Rephaim series.

  2. They should defo be made into a film series. Love these books and I am not a big reader but you have now converted me ! Can’t believe how amazing they are, cant wait for the next books come out .

  3. I’ve just finished reading ‘shimmer’. I loved it! I burned through it in less than 24 hours as I did with both of the first 2 in this series. I had to wait for 2 months after I read haze before shimmer was released and it seemed like forever! Now I have reached the end of shimmer and I was left thinking ‘Nooooooooooooo!’ That surely can’t be the end! thankfully I now know there will be a 4th in the series, I feel much better but it will be a loooong wait! Thanks for the great read.

  4. It has taken so long for me to read the books due to how busy I have been but these are so good. I love every moment in both of them that I have read. The way they have been written never makes me feel bored. I really want to get Shimmer. I also really hope that these books gets made into movies.

  5. I have just finished reading shimmer and I’m excited there will be a fourth in the series, but 2015!!! That’s too far away…

  6. Hello! I just wanted to say how amazing these books are and how much I love them! I read them all in about three days haha and I dont usually read books so this just proves how amazing they are. I absolutely cannot wait for the fourth one. Very exciting! 🙂

  7. I’m not usually a fan of the fallen angel genre, but your books have well and truly converted me! I have just finished reading Shimmer, and was up till three o’clock in the morning attempting to reach the last page! I am now restless for the fourth instalment, so I was wondering, at a guess, will Burn be released in early 2015 or later? (Please not the latter!)
    -Thanks 🙂

    • Hi Josie,
Glad you’re enjoying the series! I’m still writing Burn, and it’s on schedule for release in ‘mid 2015’, which will likely mean June or July. So, almost ‘early’. 🙂
      Paula

  8. Hi I have just read all three books in under a week and am dying to read the final book. When is it coming out? The books are amazing.

    ashlee

    • Thanks Ashlee. 🙂 Burn is due out mid 2015, which should mean late June/early July (I’m in the midst of writing it). As soon as I have a definite date, I’ll post it on this page. Glad you’re enjoying the series!

  9. I can’t wait for Burn, absolutely love the Rephaim series. They’re actually my favorite books (≧∇≦)/ Have a great day •‿•

  10. I started reading the series when they first came out, and the wait is soo long! Do you know if the Burn is coming out at the start of 2015 or near the end.
Loving them, keep up the good work!!!

    • Hi Alex,
Sorry about the wait, but I’m writing the series as we go, which is why it’s a year between books. I don’t have an official date yet for Burn but it will release around June/July in 2015 for Australia and soon after for the UK. A little while later in the US and Canada. Glad you’re enjoying the series, even with the wait! 🙂

  11. OMG I LOVE YOUR BOOKS! You are an amazing writer and I am SO excited for Burn to come out! ( 2015 is to far away !) I wish I was Rephaim 🙂
honestly the best books I have ever read!!!
    Love your work !! 🙂

  12. I just devoured the first three in about 2 1/2 days. After re-reading Susan Ee’s Penryn series I was really hankering for something similar, equally easy to read and fun and fantastic. Your series absolutely hit the spot, and I am so stoked for the fourth book coming out next year!

  13. So, I’m halfway through Shimmer, and thought it was just going to be a trilogy but realised there’s no way we can fit a good conclusion into the rest. Pretty glad there’s another book tbh, I’m really enjoying this series!
I original though it would be another half-arsed spin off series, but I was so wrong! Excellent series that defiantly holds it’s own! And slightly besotted with Rafa 😛 Can’t wait for the next one. x

    • Also! Any chance of a Melbourne tour?? oh, on that note, is there anywhere specific in Melbourne that the books are set? ok, that’s enough questions from me… 🙂

      • Hey Daniella,
Thanks for the comments. Glad the series is working for you – and that you realised there’s another book before you get to the end of Shimmer. You’ll understand when you get there… 🙂
I do get to Melbourne occasionally, so hopefully next visit I can do some bookish stuff while I’m in town.
The main Melbourne connection in the series is in and around the CBD, which I LOVE, especially the laneways.
        Paula

        • Hi Paula, Thanks for the speedy reply! It makes me thankful for the internet that I can literally talk to the author of an awesome book whilst I’m in the middle of reading it… mind blown.
Awesome, I’m going to take that as a recommendation to go shopping there in the near future. I go past every day, I’ve just never done proper shopping! But If Maggie approves.. 😛

  14. Hi Paula,
I’m so glad that I can actually talk to an author for once! Your books are truly amazing, the best I’ve read. They grab my attention right away and when I start reading I just can’t stop. I only just finished ‘Haze’ and I’m going to convince my mum to buy the next one for me. After I finished reading ‘Shadows’, I asked to go to the book store right away, but they didn’t have the book in stock. So everytime someone went to the shops (mum, dad or sisters) I demanded that they go into the book store just to see if they had ‘Haze’! 😊 After a killer week my sister finally found a book store which had it in stock. Now it is time to find ‘Shimmer’! I can’t wait to start reading!
Thank you for writing these books!
    Bec 😁

      • Hey again Paula,

I know that I am going to enjoy the next two books! 😊 If you don’t mind telling, how did you come up with the ideas to write these books? Because it was a stroke of genius! 😊

        • Thanks Bec. 🙂
Here’s the short(ish) version: The first book, Shadows, started as a scene in my head that I couldn’t stop thinking about. It involved a girl and guy who were attracted to each other, but who had a complicated history that only he remembered. I knew there were supernatural elements in how she’d lost her memory and that the two of them were part of a wider conflict and had ended up on different sides. When I started researching world-building options to work out their story, I came across the Book of Enoch. It’s a two-thousand-year-old text that talks about angels being kicked out of heaven for getting a little too friendly with human women. I started thinking about what would happen if those angels got free again and fathered children. And then what the consequences would be for those half-angels, and how that could relate to my two characters. From there, the world of the Rephaim was born and Gaby and Rafa’s story came together…

  15. I am in love with THE REPHIAM series!!!! Best series I have ever read!!! Funny to think that I came across Shadows by mistake and took it ’cause I was so bored… (sorry) But the up side was that it turned out to be a great series 🙂
I’ve almost finished Shimmer but still hanging on to Burn…. cannot wait!!!
Please email me when it will be released 🙂 Can’t hold on any longer!!! =]

    • Hi Valerie,
Thanks for the message – and I’m glad you discovered the series!
I’m now in the editing phase with Burn, and it’s scheduled for release around June next year. I don’t have a definite date yet, but I’ll update the website with the details as soon as I have them.
      Enjoy the rest of Shimmer!

  16. These books are so amazing! I finished Shadows and Haze in about a week and then it was a very painful wait until Shimmer! Then Shimmer ended on the very queen of all cliff-hangers! June/July 2015 is a very long wait!! I cannot wait any longer!! 🙂 Do you know when there will be an exact release date?I’m sosososo excited!!!!! 😮

  17. I am so glad there is another book. I have been searching everywhere for info on the next one haha. I cannot wait to see what happens next. This series is one of my all time favourite!

  18. Hi! I have just read your books and I think they are amazing! I love them 🙂 could we please have a sneak peek or something of Burn? I don’t think I can wait until august next year aha I can’t wait to see what happens next!! I love Rafa and Gabes story line and omg August is to far away!! Thanks:)

  19. Hi Paula. Reader from the U.S. here. Just finished Haze and had to order Shimmer from the UK since it’s not available here yet. I can’t wait to get my hands on it and I’m definitely wishing I could be there for Burn release! Looks like I’ll be ordering that from UK too since the US delay is so long. Thanks for an awesome series!

  20. Oh my gosh! I had heard that this series was going to be a trilogy! And next thing I knew: it isn’t!

My parents got me the first for my birthday in October last year, which I read immediately, and I got to buy the other two a few days ago as a late Christmas present. :). When I was about 30 pages away from the end of Shimmer I started thinking, ‘she can’t possible wrap this up in 30 pages!?!?!’, and then there’s another book! Which totally made my day.

I also just wanted to say that I love your writing and I especially love that it’s set in Australia. Now I’M the one who understands all of the plants and animals the book describes, instead of sitting there thinking, ‘conifers and poplars… Wait? POPULAR trees?!?!?’, trust me – that actually happened. It also means that I don’t have to get really confused as to where the hell the characters are in America. At least I know where Melbourne and Hobart are.
Oh, by the way, we live in the same city which is like super cool. ;). Go Brisbane!!! I can’t wait for the next book (and apparently the final book. :(. ) and I’m pretty damn pleased and rather smug that Australia and NZ get an earlier release date than the UK or US.

Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year!
    From Izzy 🙂

    • Hi Izzy,
Thanks for the awesome message. Great to hear from another Brisbanite! I’m so pleased you’re enjoying the series. I can understand your concern towards the end of Shimmer if you thought it was the last in the series. 🙂
So, yes, Burn will be the final book in the Rephaim series and I promise it gives answers to all the big questions.
I’m hoping I’ll have another launch at Riverbend Books in Bulimba around June/July, so keep an eye out here on my blog for the date and then come along and say hi!
(I did have a lovely Christmas and New Year, thanks. Hope you did too. I’m over this humid weather, though. Bring on a Queensland winter, I say!)

  21. my 12 year old is in love with your books, she read the first 2 books in a week and she’s begging me for the third, which I ordered already. I guess she’ll have to wait for the 4th 🙂

    • Hi Angie. Thanks for the feedback! Not too long to wait for the fourth book now. (And I should let you know there is slightly more sexual content in the third book. You might like to skim read first to check it’s okay?)

  22. OH MY GOD!
Just read that you have finished the 4th book and it is coming out on the 24th of June (for Australia anyway). I am SO BLOODY EXCITED I could pee my pants.
Originally I actually thought that it was only going to be a trilogy but when I was getting to the end of the 3rd book I was like, wait a minute how on Earth is Paula Weston going to sum this amazing story up when there are still so many secrets, and Gaby and Jude still don’t have their memory.

Also if you have any book recommendations for me when and if you reply to this message/comment could you please write them.
Oh and just encase you might need to know for the book recommendations I’m 14 years old.

Anyway can’t wait for the 4th book, and I hope you had an extremely amazing Chrissie and New Year.
Filled with extreme happiness, Gretta Condon. ☺☻☺☻

    • Hey Gretta,
Thanks for the comment! Yep, the series was always four books and I definitely need that last one to tie up all those loose ends and sort everyone one out. 🙂
As for book recommendations…I have so many! But here are a few to get you started:
      – For an action-packed futuristic story: Disruption (and then Corruption) by Jessica Shirvington.
      – For beautifully written contemporary fantasy: Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor (first of a trilogy – all books are available; it’s angels, but not what you think), and Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater (also first of a trilogy – a very different and lyrical look at werewolves – all books available).
      – For an excellent ‘other world’ style fantasy, try Finnikin of the Rock by Aussie author Melina Marchetta (first of a trilogy – all books available).
      – For romantic science fiction, try These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner.
      – For a clever YA vampire series with a twist, try Evernight by Claudia Gray (first of four books, and all are available).
And here are a few of of my favourite contemporary YA books that you might like (all by Aussie authors):
      – On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
      – Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta (yes, I love Melina’s books!)
      – Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley
      – Wildlife by Fiona Wood
      – All I Ever Wanted by Vikki Wakefield
      – Girl Defective by Simmone Howell.
There are heaps more, but it’s a start!
Let me know if you read any of these and what you think. 🙂
      Paula

    • Oh my gosh! I think I’ve found my twin!!!
I couldn’t believe there was a fourth book too!
(My post is about two back from yours)
Paula is such a great writer and it’s so cool how she replies to all the comments (sorry if you (Paula) read this and hear me talking about you in third person)
I’m just happy that you posted because it made me notice there is a synopsis now. Which randomly made me cry when I read it…
      Bye 🙂

      • Thanks you so much for commenting on my comment I actual love to get replays and to talk to people about books.
I have 1 friend at school who I talk to about books and we just spend our whole science and PE lessons recommending books to each other.
If you want any recommendations I would be happy to give you some though just wondering how old you are because you might not like my selections of you are older and probably soundn’t read some of you are a few years younger than me.
I’m so glad I could make you happy.
        Gretta
        Xx

        • As I said we’re non biological twins! I’m also fourteen and would love some book recommendations 🙂
I always enjoy knowing what other people have read and liked (and then fangirling over it)
I don’t know what else to say so I’m just going to smile some more 🙂 😉 🙂 😉 🙂
          Bye

  23. Hey Paula,
I read your books a while back and I’ve been waiting so long for Burn to be released. I’m so excited!! I live in Brisbane and it’s honestly so nice to read a book who’s author lives in the same country as me, let alone state and city! It makes it so much easier when creating the scenes in my head 🙂 Thank you for the updates and for generally writing this book series! I have one quick question; How long is Burn (page number wise)?
    Thanks for your time.
    Rebecca

    • Hi Rebecca,
It’s always great to hear from a fellow Brisbanite! Thanks for the message. To answer your question, Burn is 430 pages (plus a couple of pages of acknowledgements. 🙂
      Paula

  24. Have you read the trylle trilogy
Or the water song series both written by Amanda Hocking they are fantasy, mythology and romance.
Also theirs the Alpha girl series that is also fantasy and romance.
He’s with me is a super funny romance.
The Vampire Academy series is the best series ever I absolutely love it, although you may have read that one one because it is a super popular series
The mortal instruments and the infernal devices are another 2 amazing series you might have read these ones to because they are also really popular.

I just wanted to say I am so excited to be able to talk to you about books and give you some recommendations.
I would love to get to know you better (that may sound a little weird considering we only just started talking but I am being absolutely honest) but we live is different states in Australia.😭😩👎

        • Hey Gretta!

I finally got round to reading the second half of the VA series as well as rereading all of the Mortal Instruments so I could read the final book. They’re both really good series (I’ve also read the Infernal Devices series and the references to that in the MI as hilarious) and I’m planning on reading some of the other books you’ve recommended as soon as I get To Kill A Mockingbird out of the war for school 🙂

        • I’m so glad you are enjoyed those series and I was wondering if you enjoy the book to kill a mockingbird, also what is it really about?

  25. I just read the first three books this past winter and the publishing of the fourth book crosses my mind frequently still. I’m almost 30 and a mom of three! Never thought I’d be into an angels and Demons story. Will you be doing any publicity in Victoria for the fourth? I’m in Sale! Would be excited to see ya around!

    • Hi Kaylin! Thanks for the comment. And it’s okay to be 30 and like my books – I’ve got plenty of readers of all ages! 🙂 We haven’t started planning launch publicity yet but I’ll let you know if I’ll be doing anything in your part of the world. Hope you enjoy Burn when it’s out.
      Paula

  26. I love this series so much, and having just spent the day with Shimmer and the gang, (yup, I spent a fortune to get it shipped to Canada from book depository because I couldn’t wait)
I am counting down the days till I can get back to them with BURN. All kinds awe and respect for the impeccable plotting! You have mad serious skills, my dear. Thank you for these characters.

  27. Hi i read all of your book in 2 days and i love it please tell me this isn’t the last book. I want to keep reading Gaby and Rafa 😉

    • Hi!
Burn is the last book in the Rephaim series, but I do love writing these characters, so who knows what might happen down the track. I have some other stories I want to first though. 🙂 I’m glad you’re enjoying the series!
      Paula

  28. Oh, you definitely know how to tease us! God, I need Gaby’s memories right now! Is it June yet?

    And dear Gaby,
Please don’t hurt Rafa. We both love him madly.

  29. Hi,
    I live in Canada.
I really can’t understand why the release date of the book is ONE YEAR after the publication in UK and Australia.
It’s not about waiting the writing of the book. The book is finished and out.
So what is it that justify the publication 1 YEAR later?
I think would be fair at least give an explanation to people living in this “forgotten” part of the world.
Sorry about the comment but it is actually because I like the series.
    Thank you for your reply!

    • Hi Francesca,
I understand your frustration, and I have answered this question in other comment threads on this site. But it won’t hurt to repeat it here.
First up, I have to clarify that I have no say in when my books are released by any of my publishers in any part of the world.
With Haze coming out in paperback this year (September), my North American publisher has decided to stick with the paperback (and ebook) format from here on in rather than printing hard covers first. So that means Shimmer will now be released in the US and Canada in March 2016, which is the original date planned for the paperback. The good news is that Burn will the be only three months later in June 2016. I wish I had better news, but the hard covers haven’t sold as well as hoped, so the plan is to focus on the paperbacks and hope that more readers in your part of the world discover the series.
      Paula

  30. Hi Paula,

I just wanted to say how much I love your Rephaim series! Ever since my friend Sarah Mutton got me reading Shadows back in 2013, I’ve been hooked ever since! For me, it is rare that I enjoy a young adult series. I cannot wait for Burn next month!

    ~Megan 🙂

      • So I finally got Burn on Kindle the other day. I wanted to wait and see if any stores around Adelaide would actually stock them in paperback rather than having them shipped in, but alas, they did not. So, after a grueling month of debating whether to order the paperback or get it on Kindle, I chose the latter.

And I devoured that book in one day.

Hands down, my most favourite book in the series! It wraps up everything so nicely, and even leaves an opening for the imaginative ones to hope there might be a sequel series (I know that’s a slim chance, but I’m still hoping, haha).

One of the best young adult series’ I’ve read in a very long time! Thank you so much for blessing us with this series Paula! I can’t wait to read more works from you! 😀

        ~Megan 🙂

        • Thanks Megan! Glad you enjoyed the series – and Burn especially. Thanks for taking the time to let me know. 🙂 Hopefully you’ll enjoy whatever comes next too.

  31. Hi Paula my name is Georgia and I love your books. I am 15 years old and live in Australia as well. It took me less than a week to read the first three books of the Rephaim series and I can’t wait for the fourth. The chemistry between Gaby and Rafa is arrgh they are just so perfect together. And I’m pretty sure that if they were ever split up you’d have a riot on your hands. I can’t wait to find out what Gaby and Jude were up to and whether Gaby and Rafa end up together. Thank you for your time!

  32. Hello Paula, do you plan on releasing a teaser of Burn ? I have just re-read the 3 first books and i still enjoyed them very much. But i should have waiting a little more because now on month to go seems so long ! (Sorry for my english) Good Day

  33. Hi Paula,

I absolutely love your series and have been so excited to read “Burn”! I’m in the United States though and just found out it’s not released here until about this time next year. 😦 I was wondering if you know of any way I would be able to get it to read before next year, somehow? I’ve checked all over, and I’m not able to get it on ebook or hard copy anywhere since I live here. I’ve never done this before, but I was begging my husband for ideas and he said that maybe you would be able to point me in the right direction? I totally understand if you don’t have any ideas, but I figured I would check! Whether it’s soon or next year I can’t wait to read “Burn”!

    • Hi Emily,
Thanks so much for your message. I generally like to encourage people to buy the local edition of my books in their part of the world, but I understand your impatience. 🙂 The only edition of Burn released so far in the world is the Australian one by Text Publishing and you can order direct from their site. It’s obviously not the most economical option, but will certainly get you a copy! You can check out that option here: https://www.textpublishing.com.au/books/burn . I still don’t fully understand how e-book licensing works, so I’m not sure if you can access the Australian version the same way. Just checking: have you read Shimmer too? (It’s not released in US/Canada until March next year, with Burn then coming out in June). Hope that helps!

      • Thanks for the advice, I will try that! I have read shimmer, I was able to find a used copy of that off amazon several months after it was published. I am definitely looking forward to reading it however i’m able to find it!!

        • Hello. I’m not sure if you still are looking, but I just ordered the paperback copy of Burn from the US Amazon via seller Book Depository US. It was only $13 with shipping. Granted, the shipping will take a few weeks, but that is nothing 🙂 Good luck!

  34. Two days ago I picked up the signed copy of Burn that my mum had managed to reserve for me at a bookshop. Predictably, no one saw me for the rest of day, except for dinner, until I had finished it. At which point, I presently began to recount the entirety of Gabe’s story to anyone who came within a 2m radius of me, physically and via text message.

It’s written very well and is a fantastic ending to a amazing series. It’s very exciting to read Gaby’s backstory and find out the secrets and answers to the questions that have been collecting throughout the other books.

Paula, thank you for being a fantastic writer and composing a series that’s enjoyable to read and makes readers ecstatically happy (as well as sad at the appropriate times in the storyline).

I loved Burn and this series is definitely one of, if not my favourite book series ever.
    🙂

  35. I have only read the first copy of Shadows and I absolutely loved and enjoyed it each words had me hanging on for more. I am really looking forward to reading your other books, you are truly an amazing author. I also want to say I feel so excited to be able to message you I have been searching the Internet to try and contact you, you are by far my fav author! Thank you for your fantastic writing 🙂 I hope they make a movie out of this book it would be a great hit!

      • Thanks for your reply Paula xx
I just got Shimmer yesterday and I am absolutely loving it already! It’s truly an enjoyable series and very exciting find the answers to the questions on Gaby’s mysterious life! I also just want to say I loved the teaser 🙂 xx
        Kayla

  36. I love these books! As much as I hate to wait, I love books which keep me one my toes so I cannot wait till the next one. My question is, how did you come up with the plot line/ characters for this book? Did you take your inspiration from everyday life? Or other books ect? I love to read and write and I’ve been trying to come up with some original ideas but seems like they’ve all been done before haha so im just curious how you came up with everything?
    Thanks! X

  40. Hi Paula, my name is Kirsten and I’ve really enjoyed The Rephaim series. I’m currently on book 3 which will take me about 3 days to read as i am a fast reader and since I’m in high school i have other things to get done first. I live in the United States and want to know why your 4th book Burn isn’t being released until a year later than other countries? I don’t know if i can wait until June to read.

    Thank you,

    Kirsten

    • Hi Kirsten,
I’m glad you’re enjoying the series. 🙂 My books are published in different parts of the world by different publishers. Each publisher decides when it will release each book, based on its publishing schedule and marketing factors etc. I understand the frustration of having to wait longer (and wish it wasn’t so), but at least it’s only a few months between Shimmer and Burn. In Australia, the UK and other parts of the world there was at least a year wait between each book!
I hope you keep enjoying the series, and that the wait for Burn is worth it.
      Paula

      • Thank you so much for responding so quickly! I’m amazed you actually responded, and I must say you’ve been an inspiration to me in writing! I’ve always wanted to be a writer, but your books have kicked the writers block out of me.

I hope you have a good night (or day, wherever you are at the moment).

        -Kirsten

  41. Hey Paula! I just finished the whole series and…wow! Burn was so much more amazing than I ever could have hoped for!!! I’ve told loads of my friends about the series and they are absolutely hooked! Is there a teeny tiny possibility of a 5th book coming out? I just love the characters and want to know more about Gaby, Rafa, Daisy and Jude and how they they will all interact in their own way towards their respective fathers(especially Rafa;) )…If there if no more books though, that’s okay because the journey with all the characters has been amazing throughout these 4 brilliant books:)

    • Thank you! I don’t have any immediate plans to write a fifth book (I have something totally new coming out next year), but I never say never, because I do love those characters. 🙂 Thanks so much for reading and sharing the Rephaim series!

  42. Honestly I almost died at the ending of Haze. I baught all books at once so the cliff hanger doesn’t kill me. God! Its soo good. I am dying finish shimmer and start burn.

  43. Hiiii! So after a second read through of this amazing series, I was thinking that you put a lot of serious hints that this story is not over!!! I thought the same thing when I first read it, and now I’m more convinced. I mean, what about the big war between heaven and hell??? How well does Jude do as the leader of, well, everybody? (I sure he’s totally fab, but that’s beside the point) What happens with the Fallen and the Rephaim? Like can they get along? Will Rafa and his father “throw down?” These are important questions!!!!! Ugh I just don’t want to let these characters go. Thank you so much for writing these books. I haven’t been able to find anything that will grab me this intensely since reading them the first time around. (I’m seriously obsessed, which is why I’m begging for a continuation :))

    • Thank you! I always love it when people read the series a second time around (or more!) and enjoy it just as much. And yes, you raise important questions 🙂 I never say never…but for now you’ll need to imagine what happens next. I’m caught up in new stories and new characters, but the Rephaim are never far from my heart (or my daydreaming). Thank you for the message!

I'd love to hear from you. (I've had issues with spam, so your comment will come to me for approval before it appears.)
